Duty Type Set Up

Duty type set up is relevant only if you are using the Listed duty types option.

Walkthrough: Setting up duty types

• In the Set Up menu select Duty Types to open the Duty Types page.

• On the Duty Types page choose the Duty Types tab.

• Refer to the tables below for a description of each duty type field.

• Refer to DutyMan Data Forms for instructions on use.

Duty Type Fields

Setting	Description	Req	Max chrs
Duty Type	A name to uniquely identify this type.	Yes	25
Duty Type Group	The name of an existing group. Always set up groups before types.
Type Display Order	See Duty Display Order. The Group Major and Minor Display Order settings are shown above and below the Duty Type Display Order.		2
Instructions	Information about all duties of this type. The text appears against duties of this type in duty reminders and in the duty roster. Duty Instructions at club and group level are shown above duty type instructions.		1000
