The DutyList App
DutyList is a handy app for race officials to use in the run up to events. It lists all events in the coming week with their duty list, the names of the members assigned to the duties, their status and optionally their phone number and email address. Status is whether the member has confirmed that they will attend and/or they are looking for a duty swap.
On the day of the event (if the feature is available* and enabled), members can be marked as having attended or not attended. See Attendance Recording.
DutyList is optimised for use on touch screen devices such as phones and tablets but also works well on laptops and desktops. It can be accessed as a conventional web page or installed as an app.

The app is configured on the >Set Up >DutyList App page.
Privacy and Data Protection
The app is protected by an access code and a captcha to deter form-filling bots. Access codes can be up to 32 characters long and, for flexibility, you can specify up to three on the >Set Up >DutyList App page.
How you use access codes depends on factors such as whether the option to show member contact details is enabled and your club or organisation’s privacy policy. You may conclude that only light security is necessary in which case a, say, 4 digit access code might be appropriate. For a higher level of security consider passwords or longer but easily remembered passphrases.
Consider changing or rotating access codes periodically.
Deployment
To deploy, make the DutyList link and an access code available to those you wish to authorise to use the app. The app has in-built instructions for use.
