Member Information Definitions
You can define additional items of member information (Infos for short). Every member
has a complete set of the Infos you define. Infos can be uploaded and downloaded in the same way as member contact details. They can
also be maintained on-line by Administrators and by members when permitted.
Selected Infos can be shown in the Membership Directory
The number of Infos you can define is limited to a quota.

Member Information Definition
Data Types
Text: free-format character information with a maximum of 255 characters
including spaces and punctuation.
Dropdown: values can be selected only from a pre-defined list.
Number: a numeric value in the range -999,999,999.9999 to +999,999,999.9999.
Date: for calendar dates.
YesNo: values can be only Yes or No. Implemented as a checkbox.
Heading: does not hold member data. Used to organise data-holding Infos into sections for clarity.
Presenting Infos on Web Pages
Infos are visible to members on their own >Profile page and in the Membership Directory. Here are some ideas for making them member-friendly:

Use Headings to identify groups of related Infos. For example Qualifications or Boat Details.

Use meaningful Display Names. For example Annual Subscription or Qualification Expiry Date.

Provide Help Text if it is not immediately obvious what an Info is used for.

Use Maximum Characters to limit the size text Infos.

Where appropriate specify the number of Decimal Places and Units for number Infos.
