Manual Synchronisation

A list of members and their details is exported from the Member Data Provider (MDP) to a file then imported into DutyMan.

When importing into DutyMan each member record is processed as follows:

  • If the member’s Member DBID is in DutyMan but the corresponding DMP identifier is not in the imported file then the member is deleted from DutyMan.
  • If the member’s MDP identifier is in the imported file but not in a Member DBID in DutyMan then the member is added to DutyMan.
  • If the member’s MDP identifier is in both the imported by file and in a Member DBID in DutyMan and their details differ then the member is updated in DutyMan.

Note: import for synchronisation is not the same as the standard DutyMan member upload.
