Member Search

Member Search is a tool to help you quickly find a person in your list of members.

Search Criteria describe characteristics of the person you are looking for; Member Search lists all members who match the criteria.

Criteria can be as simple as the first few letters of names or more complex involving multiple items of standard DutyMan member information, club specific member Information and even the number of duties assigned.

Walkthrough

• Enter your Search Criteria.

• Press Search. All those who match your search criteria are listed.

• Click on a name to select it,

• or press to select a name at random from the list,

• or refine your search criteria and press Search again.

Search Criteria

Names beginning with

Type the first few characters, or all, of a member first or last name.

Match Optimum Duty Types

Value	Description
No	Do not match on Optimum Duty Type
Yes	Select those who match on Optimum Duty Type
Yes plus blank	Select those who match on Optimum Duty Type and also those for whom an Optimum Duty Type has not been specified

Duties assigned in current roster

Count the number of duties in the currently active roster assigned to each member and compare the count with the number specified. To omit this criterion select n/a (not applicable).

Include members who are not expected to do duties

When this criterion is not chosen (the default setting) members with an Allocation Number of Duties set to None are excluded from the search. With this criterion selected all members are included in the search.

Note Number of Duties is a duty allocation field. Duty Allocation must be enabled to use it here.

Member Infos

You can use upto five Member Infos as criteria by selecting an info name from the drop-down list, a comparator and a value.
