Hidden Events

Hiding an event is a way of temporarily concealing it from members. Typically you hide an event while you work on it then show it again when you have finished.

A hidden event is indicated by a black triangle in the upper-right corner of its row in the Calendar Pane and the word Hidden on a black background in its Event Pane.

Hidden events are not listed in the duty roster. Changes that you make while an event is hidden are not notified to members by email until you unhide the event. When you have finished working on an event and unhide it only those members who now have a duty are notified.

Events are initially hidden when you add them on the Events and Duties Manager.

Walkthrough: Show one or more events

• Select an event in the Calendar Pane.

• Click Show in the Event Pane.

• Choose one of the options from the drop down menu.

• Select an event in the Calendar Pane.

• Click Hide in the Event Pane.

• Choose one of the options from the drop down menu.

Note: menu options All before and All after include the selected event.
