Send and Mail Queue
Press Hold or Send to add your message to the mail queue then monitor its progress.
There is a mail queue for the DutyMan Administrator and one for each member who has been granted access to the Mailer. Each mail queue is a list of messages created by its owner. Messages have a colour-coded Status

Ultimate fate: changed to sent status if successfully trnasmitted otherwise set to failed status. |

Origin: The Mailer has attempted to send the message to all recipients. Note that individual transmissions may fail. |

Immediate future: stays in mail queue. Can be Opened and Deleted. Stop changes it to status held |

Ultimate fate: automatically deleted after 30 days. |

Origin: The Mailer has been unable to send the message to all recipients. See Retry Mechanism |

Immediate future: stays in mail queue. Can be Opened, Deleted and Retried. |
|
Ultimate fate: automatically deleted after 30 days. |

Origin: Hold pressed. |
|
Immediate future: stays in mail queue. Can be Opened and Deleted. Start changes it to status queued |

Ultimate fate: stays in mail queue until Deleted. |

Origin: Save pressed. |

Immediate future: stays in mail queue as work in progress or for future reference. Can be Opened and Deleted. |
